We are asking Allies to promote a culture within their organisation where employees feel comfortable to self-declare their disability.
Disability awareness training is central to increasing awareness and understanding. We are asking Allies to incorporate disability awareness training into their annual training programmes.
We are asking Allies to work to make their office buildings wheelchair accessible. As part of this we are asking Allies to promote the standards of the Centre for Excellence in Universal Design.
Accessible in the workplace is vital for many types of disability. The Law Society Technology Committee has collated a list of such technology that is used in the legal sector. We are asking our Allies to promote the use of such technology in their workplace.
